Oral History Association Statement on Ethics (Digital Resource)

Sady Sullivan served as the head of the Ethics Working Group on the committee which revised the Oral History Association’s (OHA’s) Priciples and Best Practices in 2018. Sady was integral in crafting the latest revision of the OHA’s Statement on Ethics. During the group’s revision, Sady advocated for the use of the phrase “web of mutual responsibility,” which is a quote from the germinal essay, “From Human Rights to Feminist Ethics: Radical Empathy in the Archives” written by Michelle Caswell and Marika Cifor for Archivaria, the Association of Canadian Archivists 81 (Spring 2016)
