Brooklyn School of Inquiry Oral History
Sady led the project design and a small team of interviewers to conduct interviews with students of the Brooklyn School of Inquiry over the course of 8 years (2010-2018) as part of an ongoing project to add to the Brooklyn Historical Society’s oral history collections.
Interviews were held with the First Grade class of the new school then on a recurring basis each year through their Eighth Grade graduation. Project design for this multi-layered oral history project included an educational classroom component providing elementary-school age students with hands-on experience of primary sources and archives.
